Festival Beach Community Garden resides on Austin Parks and Recreation Department land through a partnership with the Sustainable Food Center and the Austin Parks Foundation. Many businesses and individuals have provided monetary and goods donations in order to support the garden and our public events. We are so grateful. Festival Beach Community Garden is the first community garden to be built on City of Austin park land as part of the City’s new initiative to encourage the use of City land for community gardens. We serve as a template and are leading the way for more gardens in the future.
